The Dark Knight How should the scar look on Harvey's face?

Personally, I think it would look a little odd to have him in a dual suit setup as well. I like the idea of just having one half of the suit being ripped and shredded in spots. It just seems more like something Nolan would do in his ultra realistic approach of the Dark Knight.
I hate that idea

Make it realistic. The torn idea works for me. It represents his dual personality rather well.

The suit isn't a huge deal. As long as Two Face's scarred side of this face looks good it will work. He should also have the coin and an obsession with the number two. I'm concerned on how the role is going to played. I didn't care for Tommy Lee Jones' performance in Forever. He was way too...let's just say over the top...haha. Would everyone prefer the character be portrayed in a way similar to the animated series or something different?

uhhh..yes it would

As someone said before, have you ever heard of "obsession"? The half suit reflects his duel personality. It doesn't have to be a gimick. During the process of Harvey's transformation, he can ran-sack his apartment and start ripping apart his clothes. Thats when he discovers 2 suits that reflect his duality. In his crazed state, he'll do what Catwoman did in BR. Harvey sloppily sews a clean black suit with a ratty brown sports coat. In the back of the half-suit, you can see the zig-zag seam that connects the 2 suits.

Its feasable and you know that Nolan can do it:up:

Harvey Dent, Gotham's Apollo, Fantastic Attorny and World Class Seamstress? No - again to gimicky. The Coin is what matters with two face - the suit doesn't.

Here Here. I'm willing to allow some ripping on one side, but that's it. No multi-colour suit, too distracting, too 'kiddie' IMO.

I don't know I still stand by the double-sided suit. It just flows easily because Two-Face is a Jekyll and Mr. Hyde character. He carries a two-sided quarter, he has two personalities, his face is split between the middle. Why can't he have his iconic double-sided suit?

I mean Nolan could work in Norman's idea where Two-Face is hidden behind shadows and such, but after awhile it'd come out as "The Smoking Man" from "The X-Files" where we always see half a face and body. I want Two-Face to be visible with the white and black suit. He doesn't need zebra skin like Schumacher gave him, nor does he need some crimeboss look to him, just a suit that shows he's struggling between right and wrong, good vs. evil, light vs. dark, etc.

For his suit just have the one side with burnt acid holes. And maybe later on he patches them up with ugly dirty patches. Just an idea.

First you give him the double-sided-suit, then you have his goons wearing two-sided outfits, then his house is split down the middle, then he's robbing the 2nd National Bank on February 2nd at 2:22 am, twice. There's a point at which it goes from simply representing his duality and his split personality, to becomming a lame gimmick. I just hope the Nolan's know where to draw that line.

His goons don't need two-sided suits. Just him. His goons could be like what Falcone had. Hell they could be ex-Arkyamites for all I care.

It should look like this:

I 'd say have the scar affect a portion of his face and it would spread a little but have him do the rest of the scaring himself make it sort of twisted like.

I know they don't, that was my point. Once you start giving him these gimmicky things like two-sided suits and split rooms, then it just escalates until he's doing crap like robbing the 2nd national bank at 2:22 am of February 2nd. The two-sided suit might work, but it does run the risk of grossing that line into becoming gimmicky.

Joker is probably going to be the one to scar him, which it will probably mean the special acid flower Joker has. Which means that the acid is from Acme... the same acid that created Joker. So it needs to be whiteish.
