The Dark Knight How should the scar look on Harvey's face?

Ahh yes the suit from the TAS, that could work as well but I also like this one too:

"BTAS" suit would work with Nolan's dark theme.

And then make his face like it was in the most current Jamie Robinson story arc, only with a less straight line going down the middle.

Yes the TAS suit would better now that I think about it, but the scar on TLH Two-Face would better.

Instead of Two-Faces suit actually being two colors, I would prefer that Harvey normally stood in a way so that the shadow made the right side seem darker than the other.

Nah, the double-sided suit is iconic because it represents good and evil, night and day, light vs. dark. I would use the shadows only in the beginning leaving Two-Face in a sense of mystery of "What did really happen to Harvey?"

I don't think the Darkman scar would work because there would be a risk for infections with all that tissue exposed. I would prefer for an acid burn, with half his lips gone etc, yet with no muscle tissue exposed. He should also periodically have to take pills in order to fight the pain. As for the split suit, I'm not sold on it. Maybe have one half ripped in spots, or maybe one side is made of a more rough fabric in texture and appearance, but not completely different like in Batman Forever

Two-Face's face is iconic, his coin is iconic, the suit is not. His face and coin are the key metephores - the suit is not.

Yes, but he's two separate minds, two personalities, trying to stay alive and dormant inside one body. And the suit reflects that nature of Dr. Jekyll vs. Mr. Hyde or Harvey vs. Big Bad Harv.

The 'halve-halve' suit looks silly. That would have been like Scarecrow running around in a full on Scarecrow outfit. The mask was all that was really needed, along with the straight jacket.

The coin is a must. I'll be interesting to see how 'Two-Face' is actually setup from being a hotshot D.A, to a unbalanced manic with a duality complex...

Question - where would one get a half and half suit?

He could have it tailored for him. All he's got to do is hold up the place at gunpoint. I mean not everything has to be logical nowadays.

Still say the half and half suit is too gimicky and wouldn't work well in a movie.

How do you people know Two-Face is going to be in the film? I also agree that Liev Schieber should get the nod for him if he is.

Greatness IMO. I would also always have him putting drops into his eye and have a little less hair. I just saw an episode of Nip/ Tuck in which a lady had Two Face syndrome. That was a great look too.

for the record I'm highly in favor of the split suit.

Always have been

Well The Long Halloween version is the best for me.

I also want him to have hair on 2nd half of face

uhhh..yes it would

As someone said before, have you ever heard of "obsession"? The half suit reflects his duel personality. It doesn't have to be a gimick. During the process of Harvey's transformation, he can ran-sack his apartment and start ripping apart his clothes. Thats when he discovers 2 suits that reflect his duality. In his crazed state, he'll do what Catwoman did in BR. Harvey sloppily sews a clean black suit with a ratty brown sports coat. In the back of the half-suit, you can see the zig-zag seam that connects the 2 suits.

Its feasable and you know that Nolan can do it:up:

I personally think that the way to do the dual suit thing is simple: Have one side normal, and have another side covered in blood. It's simple, cool, and creepy. Plus, you still have the duality aspect

just have him show up in the suit like in TLH

Thank you. See Norman it works.

Personally, I think it would look a little odd to have him in a dual suit setup as well. I like the idea of just having one half of the suit being ripped and shredded in spots. It just seems more like something Nolan would do in his ultra realistic approach of the Dark Knight.
