How tall is peter in his spidey outfit?

Tobey Maguire would be about 5'8 in costume. Spider-Man in the comics would be about 5'10.

I like that about Spiderman. He has average height. He's not like some huge guy who is 6'3 or 6'4 like most superheroes.

I just saw Spidey's stats @ marvel .com.
Yeah he's 5'10, but he's not like Superman.
What I mean is, Peter is the same size in and out of costume.
Remember, Pete is the everyman underneath the suit. So his size
isn't overemphasized. Unlike Clark Kent who is a pretty big guy. and when he puts on the suit his proportions become almost inhuman.

If you really think about it, Peter in the suit would be shorter then out of it. The suit has thinner bases then gym shoes or sneakers. His hair is padded down as well.
