In TF1 they focused on the story between a kid and his new car that is actually a transformer. With a side focus on an object that is the focus of the war.
Now what should be in the sequel...
First of all, Cybertron. What's going on with Cybertron. Characters you could bring in:
Autobots: Ultra Magnus, Blaster, Perceptor, Kup, Hound, even arcee.
Decepticons: Soundwave, Shockwave, Astrotrain, Skywarp, Thundercracker
Stoy of whats going on on Cybertron. maybe some fighting. Starscream arrives on scene to take control of the Decpticons. He takes his crew to earth to set up base. Blaster receives a transmission of some sort from Prime. They head to Earth as well. This sets up for any number of possibilities they could take it. But just the setup with Cybertron in my mind is necessary. Soundwave and his cassettes could indeed go on a mission to get Megatron back by the end of the movie.
