Iron Fist How to fix the show in Season 2 (spoilers)

One very simple and straightforward way to. . . if not fix season 2 in itself, but at least show you have the right idea?

Ditch the current intro sequence entirely. Replace it with a stylized portrayal of Danny Rand facing and beating Shou Lao the Undying. Its a way to put the fight with a dragon into the show, without breaking the budget.

Saw you make this suggestion in the other thread and I think it's a really good idea.

That's a pretty good idea.

If they were to keep the intro (I'm not suggesting they do), they need to change the logo. The intro kind of works as a sort of Calligraphy type thing where the black around him is ink. But that only works if it looks like Iron Fist is written in calligraphy.

I think for sure Davos is returning. Steel Serpent and Iron Fist have a long history from the books.

Based on season 1, Davos would definitely return IF there's a second season. However, there's no guarantee Zhou Cheng would come back. He was a minor one-off character with one fight scene. Technically he could come back, but they didn't really make it seem like he would.

I've seen what you've been saying, and you are fixated the characters were purposefully set up to return for season 2.

It seems it was a successful launch season. I can only hope they REALLY give this show the budget needed to fix the issues that occurred because it wasn't given the proper resources.

That's only part of the problem. The rushed production since it took forever to find a showrunner was also a huge issue.

Also, when it comes to directors, a lot of Hong Kong action films are relatively low budget. Yilson Yip would be an inspired choice.

I know it's a pipe dream but I was thinking if I had a dream show runner... John Carpenter is still alive and he started out in TV.

The fight choreography. It looked really slow compared to Daredevil fight scenes. And those horrible editing cuts.

There is a problem here if you don't see it.. misty can never come into IF as a main character.. she is already confirmed as a main on s2 of LC.. if there is a IF season 2 colleen will still remain the main character with Danny.. they wont let misty come in and outshine her.. the fan outrage would be enormous.. as she is an asian female lead on a show that has allot of asian culture..so even if misty does come on IF dont expect to see her much. which is why i dont see danny/misty happening..

Oh dear... I think you're exaggerating Colleen's appeal. And if Claire can have a substantive role on multiple shows, I don't see why Misty couldn't have a similar role on 2 shows. That's all I'm gonna say about that.

Who is everyone?? Sacha hasn't gotten enough praise as far as I'm concerned and Lewis has been hyped far too much...on twitter, that is. I would say most viewers couldn't even tell you who Lewis was playing. It's highly, highly unlikely that we'll see him again. I'm ready for more Davos though. I'm sure S2 will involve centering more of him and his story. It's a shame that we won't get more of his bromance with Danny. Sacha and Finn have nice chemistry.

Focus on the mythos, delve deeper into K'un-Lun history, Danny's years there, and the mystic behind the Iron Fist. Drop the boring corporate ******** stuff and useless side characters. Don't shy away from the more "comic booky" side of Iron Fist. Embrace the things that may seem corny but actually set the character and its mythos apart from the pack. Give the character a damn costume for ****'s sake ! Also change Finn Jones' trainer because as engaging as they made Danny on paper, the guy has no physical presence whatsoever, doesn't seem to be a naturally gifted martial art student and the use of double(s) was painfully obvious all along even for minor stunts.

Also this is a given but fire the set designers, concept artists, fight choreographers. The show desperately needs a new and improved visual language, something remarkable to give the character and his universe justice.

Misty is an important part of Luke Cage, she's also important part of Iron Fist's history and there's no reason she can't be featured on two shows. Claire being the "Nick Fury" of the Netflix shows is irrelevent. Point is, she shows that it's more than plausible for a character to appear on multiple shows.

You're aware that there's a show coming called Defenders, yeah?? Last I checked, both Misty and Danny are in that. There will be no "suddenly pops up" but even if that were the case, it would no different than Colleen suddenly popping up in episode 1. There are plenty of ways they could introduce Misty, even if her and Danny weren't meeting in the Defenders.

You really need to stop with this misty/danny stuff.. like.. we get it you like them in the comics.. ok... you do know they break up right.. they are both single.. so there will be no endgame stuff even if they do put them together which is a real long shot i don't see it happening

Also, they are going to waste absolutely 0 time on love interests in defenders they only have 8 episodes.. colleen and danny will show up as a couple.. they will leave as a couple they are not going to change that with only 8 episodes they have no time for it.

Have you ever thought of the fact.. that they decided to change it and don't want to put dany/misty together.. cause they don't need to stick to romantic relationships in the comics.. they are irrelevant to them.. you need to come to the place where hey look.. they might have swapped colleen in for misty.. in terms of a relationship with danny for whatever reasons tbh it does work better and make more sense since they are so similar especially in the show., also misty randomly showing up on iron fist as a love interest.. is completely wack.she might guest star on the show with luke if there is a season 2 but that would be it.


Also on a side note.. i want as much time spent on romance and relationships in the netflix marvel universe at an absolute minimum or the entire series of the shows will turn into CW angst teen day time soap dramas.. after Danny rand is actually resembling the iron fist we know.. i think hed be better of not in a relationship as he has allot of **** to do and we don't need time wasted on romance plots.

Also, i am not exaggerating her appeal.. she was the best character on the show.. if there is a season 2.. more time is gonna be spent on her.. even to the point as much as Danny.. the fans love her she is a badass. go on twitter.. all anyone is talking about in regards to iron fist is colleeen wing.. and danny rand the character is coping flack left right and center.. its mostly the studio's fault.. him even being paired with colleen wing atm is good for his character because colleen is so popular. If there is one thing that saves the show for a seaon 2 its colleen wing without her. the show would have been horrendous tbh.. there relationship and chemistry is one of the things that makes it watchable mainly because of her and ALLOT of people have the same opinion. so definitely not exaggerating
