The future of the Bond franchise as you may know by now, is at a standstill due to MGM's financial problems. Therefore, it seems apparent that Quantum of Solace is going to be last last Bond film for quite a while. In the mean time (and following up a thread I started regarding the Star Trek) movies, how about a discussion concerning the best and worst Bond movie (the official, EON produced movies, meaning no Never Say Never Again) directors thus far.

*Terence Younghttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terence_Young_(director) (Dr. No, From Russia with Love, and Thunderball)

*Guy Hamilton (Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever, Live and Let Die, and The Man with the Golden Gun)

*Peter Hunt (On Her Majesty's Secret Service)

*Lewis Gilbert (You Only Live Twice, The Spy Who Loved Me, and Moonraker)

*John Glen (For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, A View to a Kill, The Living Daylights, and Licence to Kill)

*Martin Campbell (Goldeneye and Casino Royale)

*Roger Spottiswoodehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Spottiswoode (Tomorrow Never Dies)

*Michael Apted (The World is Not Enough)

*Lee Tamahori (Die Another Day)

*Marc Forster (Quantum of Solace)
