Well, I did A-B it to the hi-res pics here, and that's what I see. I did say in my previous post that there has to be some adjustments to the proportion. But still they could have gone nearer to the actual, but as it is it's just too bulky and broad.

Just the same, the HT TDK is still the figure to beat, for now.

Please, can you do a more detailed post? For example, can you take different angle pics of the neck to show what mod you did, with text on how exactly you did it? For the chest, how much did you sand off? Can you post pictures of the sanded areas you did as well, on the body I mean?

Can you also post pics showing the limitations in the articulation, showing the kind of poses it can and can't achieve? For example, how high can the arms go above the head, how low can it bend, what poses can you do without using the base, etc? Or any pose he did in the movie that the figure can and can't do as well?

He has better articulation than HT BB Bats in my eyes, although the arms cannot really go above the head line, would jeapordise the rubber. He can hunch really low and stand fine without the stand. I just use it for safety.

I dont think you can honstely get better than teh HT TDK Batman, Takara has a worse BB one, and i havent heard any news at all about them doing tdk. there would at least be a slight rumour by now.

The photoshopped pics look great. I especially like the one where Batman's back is turned to us. It would look better if he had the cape on but I guess you wanted us to see the details of his back.

Are there sites that are selling it now and shipping it already? Most of the sites I went to will receive it December 10.

Since it was released overseas, there are plenty of sites that will deliver the figure now like Toys2.net or some HK sellers in eBay. However, there will be a huge shipping cost behind it. In the end, it is really up to you to wait for DC Direct or get it now with a little extra money. The delivery isn't bad and it only take 4 days to arrive here in New York from HK.

The torso/upper chest looks kind of bulky

Yea, I blamed the body frame HT used for the figure... it is the same as their current BB Batman however w/ the modified shoulder. The upper torso of the frame is too bulky.

One more thing that kind of bothers me is the length of the cape. I liked the one that was in the first version but then they shortened it for the final version. If they kept the cape longer, I would've been happy about it.

But the figure is still such a spectacular thing to look at.

Yea, I was hoping for a longer cape too, but I heard the HT Bat-Pod will include a wired cape for the figure. Hopefully, they’ll include two capes… one being wired and the other being longer.

I guess now we have to wait and see.

Contact eBay and Paypal immediately. I've seen dealer accounts deleted and then reinstated after a short time for what reason I've no idea. Don't worry too much yet but ACT NOW. As long as you paid through the proper channels, and appeal within the time limit (35 or 45 days or something like that) you should be protected.

Repeat ACT NOW.

I think the updates were done even before the first shipment was released. So every figure will be the newer version.

At the very least, every piece that ships from now on should be an updated figure. You can always ask first before you order just to be sure.

Like gqxsensazn and Bathead stated, the improved figure is the same as the 1st wave and the 2nd wave. There are no further changes on this figure after the first wave. The older photos of the HT TDK Batman were just shots of the prototype and was never intended to be the production run. Hence, the newer version was the only one that was put in to production. In short, everyone is getting the same figure… overseas, and DC Direct.

If this "slim body type" you mentioned will solve this problem, I'm all for it, and will look forward to get it in December when it's released by DC Direct here in Canada.

Wait, so you're saying Hot Toys did a second revision of the TDK Batman figure and looks slimmer?

There's been no official word from Hot Toys though.
But one guy was able to tell the difference.
