What do you mean by futzing?
Working with the fig positioning it so it looks menacing, fixing and working up the cape so it didn't have these chunky stubs above the shoulders/as well as making it hang properly rather than a huge triangle and trying to make it look very natural and presentable. Lots of tweaking you could say.
I liked the cape's length on the prototype. It was longer and looked like it would flow nicely.
So did I, I even crucified the new short cape but then the new cape started to grow on me. I've seen the longer cape on him from some people. Sometimes it does look good but there isn't that many poses that is flattering it.
However, granted it would have been lovely if Hot Toys supplied two capes. I guess that would have cost them more money. Though doesn't the majority of the film have this short cape, since they said this is the reason why they went for the movie accurate look... Though this being Hot Toys, they never threw in the build up accessories to the original costume, did they.
The only company that probably would have thrown all this in would have been Takara, but there isn't even any rumours from them.
To this day I love the new cape, it's just short off his heels. I love the fact that he's so lean and stealth like. Rather than the trailing wedding dress look, but I guess thats just me.
That is the pose I have kept him remaining on the stand.

I think it looks so stunning coming into my office as he is standing on the desk looking so slim/lean and giving me the evil eye. Along with The Joker displaying his card.
on ebay, finding this figure in stock in the USA is a b itch, has it yet to hit or something? or do i have to order from hong kong to get it faster?
Toys2.net currently has it in stock. They are from Canada.
All the online stores I've checked say it'll be shipping it in December.
I do believe that is when DC Direct is also getting a huge chunk of all these for their run.
