MJ wont die, however MJ will get injured. Badly enough that Peter jumps sides, and badly enough that Peter leaves her, in order to keep her safe (Think the ending of Spider-Man 1)

Joey Q has been going on about how much he hates MJ, for months now but how a divorce or her death won't work. He won't kill her, first of all because the **** will definately hit the fan, and secondly nobody believes in Marvel deaths anymore. MJ will have the occasional appearance, and will return in full, once that fat peice of **** is finally fired or resigns
