The Hollywood Reporter recently did a series of "Oscar Roundtable" interviews/videos - Hugh was included in the Actors roundtable with Mickey Rourke, Benicio del Toro, Richard Jenkins, Ed Harris and Josh Brolin. He was also asked in a separate video about Wolverine - here it is:

Video - Hugh Jackman Talks About ‘Wolverine’

The Hollywood Reporter has posted a clip of an interview with Hugh Jackman where he speaks about X-Men Origins: Wolverine. He’s very excited about the movie and I’m really looking forward to seeing it.

He tells THR why making “Wolverine” makes him feel “pretty badass” and which X-Men mutant might be even more popular than his.

Opening May 1st, the Gavin Hood-directed action-thriller stars Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber, Ryan Reynolds, Taylor Kitsch, Will.i.am, Danny Huston, Dominic Monaghan, Daniel Henney and Lynn Collins. The prequel tells the story of Wolverine’s epically violent and romantic past, his complex relationship with Victor Creed, and the ominous Weapon X program.

They used the wolf/Wolverine manip that someone from SHH! created. Makes a change from the one that gets featured everywhere else!

I second and third that. It was the story that made me a Wolverine fan, and it was the story that gave true depth to the character. I would love nothing more then to see Logan in an intense throw down with Shingin with Mariko watching.

I wonder if they plan to use gambit in the second Wolverine movie since wade's getting his own movie, but Gambit isn't, nor is he appearing in the First class movie.

First Class will either be an adaptation of the Minisseries, or a movie about the young mutantes from Xavier's Institute for Gifted Youngsters. Gambit doesn't fit in neither of those.

lets face it FOX dont have faith in the original Xmen so they could end up putting gambit in to link the wolverine movie with first class and also filling wolvering shoes as badass

I do hope Gambit gets more appearances in the films. But I doubt he will be in First Class.

Ahhh man I'm so pumped for this movie, even more so than i was for TDK. And with Deadpool getting extra scenes it seems like Hugh and the execs are paying attention to the fan sites. I predict big things for DP, in the movies and in the comics. His new solo is selling out, he has a major role in Dark Reign, maybe this is the year Wade will hit the big time. But I do hope he doesn't lose his charm and no compromising attitude just to cater to the mainstream.
