Then that's only if Marvel doesn't want to use the other streams of revenue to keep them. Besides Marvels films have a huge advantage of getting extra money pumping in from toy sales, video games, 3rd party advertisers/sponsors looking to use their characters, merchandise, etc...Good luck doing that with the average film. Every single one of Marvel's big budget films have made a profit...All of Marvel's studio films have a budget range with most being around 100 million+. All of the film Marvel Studios makes will be no higher than PG-13 and have prime release dates. All of the films between 2008 and 2013 would have to have a combined loss for Marvel to lose the rights. LOL Never happen.
