Why not?

Let me know if it's too dark for most monitors. Here's a Gamma test (no pun intended!): if you can see just a little reflected light on his abs and ribs, then it's right where I want it.

looks pretty good.

what did u make it in?

It's a photo manipped in Photoshop. I started with a photo of a Hulk statue from a company called Hard Hero. I liked the pose and design, but the lighting was not dynamic at all. And he wouldn't be convincing with a flat uniform coat of paint for 'skin.'

So, I had to add some variance to his skin tone and burn in new shading all over the place to give him a more fleshy appearance and give some life to his muscles. A Selective Color adjustment layer helped alot with this, and setting it to multiply gave great contrast to the lighting. Once established a stronger light source, I had to then think about how that new light would hit him, and added new highlights.

Those small eyes (even smaller on the piece) didn't survive blowing the image up to the size I wanted, so I redrew them and made them more intense. His hair had to be completely redrawn to look like hair and not sculpted porcelain. I also didn't especially like the teeth, so I scaled them bigger, less perfect but whiter -- and added the drool!

Thanks! The drool was a last-minute addition. I looked at it, it made me chuckle, and I knew it had to stay.
