So what do you think? Sure, it would be pricey. But definately worth it.

Humans need to start colonizing away from Earth to ensure the survival of the human race. A permenant colony on the moon will be the first step. I think it's very exciting.

It's not really about having fun on the moon. It's about learning what we can about permenant colonies away from Earth. The knowlegde, I personally believe, is vital to the survival of the human race.

Look at it this way. NASA spends billions anyway. We can do both. Why not let them go and set up a base on the moon?

Some people say it's already too late for us here on Earth, the damage is already done. We need (maybe not in our lifetimes) to get off this planet and reach for the stars. If not even for the sake of our survival, then for explorations' sake itself.
