To anyone that may know this:

Does anyone know if the next comic-book following up on Hush Returns has come out yet? If you know, plz let me know what the title is so I can go and pick it up. If you heard a date on when it's coming out or some kind of rumor about it let me know. I've been looking for that for a while now.

Thanks.

Hush Returns Again?

I haven't heard of anything.

I remember in wizard that they announced that lee and loeb were supposed to do an extra six issues of batman...but it never happened

Hush Returns is over. The trade was actually only one part of a 5 or 6 arc storyline that went on in Gotham Knights. Due to poor fan reaction to the actual comics, and poor sales of the Hush Returns TPB, they never came out with the rest in TPB format. And consider yourself lucky, cause it was awful.

For a little sample, they had Joker come back with trained pigons who he had trained to make peoples pacemakers fail. They turned the Joker into the god damn penguin. They never even followed up with the whole "his wifes killer" thing either.

This has already been discussed in my Hush Returns thread...

Thankfully.

This story was just bad.

Loeb and Lee's would have actually happened INSTEAD of Hush Returns, not in addition to it. But my guess is there plans didnt mesh up with DC's (Jason Todd returning, etc.) so they were scrapped.

Figures. That might have actually been good or, at the least, better than Hush Returns.

I'm way behind but I actually just started reading the first Hush arc. Lee's art is fantastic in this series.

Then it would be HUSH FOREVER? :woot:

I didn't buy the Hush returns only because Jim Lee wasn't drawing it.

The art, while not as good as Lee by any means, was actually the only good part of the entire Hush Returns arc...the Hush costume redesign was actually pretty nice, and the guy could draw Joker and Riddler great...hell, he got everyone down really.

I thought the art was hands down the best thing about it, those final few pages of Joker walking back to the carnival was awsome.

Good artist, reasonably good story, BAD ending. And I mean really bad.

Are there any other notable stoylines with Hush other than Returns and the Human Nature arc with Poison Ivy?

that story was barnyard by the way. Hush is trying to get with Ivy? Ha ha ha yeah right how boring. She doesn't even TRY to kill him for screwing her about in his whole plot with Riddler. She'd kill a man for much less than that and the issue was even mentioned once, not even in a story where she's trying to find a cure for a condition that Hush actually accelerated! So basically the writer picks up a character that was introduced in a very recent plotline, yet completly ignores the events of that plotline? Ha ha ha, what a morone, wtf is the guy even doing writing comics. Oh yeah and then he goes and KILLS Poison Ivy, in one panel, for absolutely no apparent reason other than he couldn't think of a better way to exit her from the story.

I love bad writing.

Isn't something happening with Hush soon? I'm sure I heard something along those lines...

Yeah, it's a retcon of the Hush Returns arc. This is his true, in continuity return.

wait it's actually an proper official retcon? where did you read that?

I haven't heard it will be a retcon either... but I'll be pretty happy if it is.

Here's hoping Tommy is Hush again... or still... or whatever (if anyone else knew by the end of 'Returns' then you're doing better than me...).

Well, as he's alive, it must be a retcon, as the Joker surely killed him at the end of the terrible Hush Returns arc.

It is a part of the Batman R.I.P. saga and supposedly he is the link with that and Final Crisis.

And for those that have not heard about the Comic Con pins, there are three: Nightwing, Jason Todd, Hush; all of whom with "I am Batman" beneath them

What happened to Dent after the original Hush run? I've stopped collecting.
