Wow.

The sweetest thing about this win? The vast majority of the voters I'm seeing are users I've been tight with for years long before I became a Hype staff member. I dunno why...but for some reason that means something to me. Sometimes longtime internet buddies treat mods differently after they get this assignment, so it's kinda humbling to see that my friendships on the Hype are intact. Modding can be a thankless job sometimes, so it's cool to know loyalty still goes a long way here--with or without the red lettering.

I want to thank the X-Men, Fantastic Four, Superman Returns, Iron Man and Batman Begins forums for their support. Kudos to my "campaign managers" on those boards and others who helped them spread the word about this Community Event.

I also want to express appreciation for the following users in particular:Hunter Rider, Immortal Fire, Kyalesin, Superman79, Doggie, Dbella and Jaguarr for being such good sports in these "battles." Some of you I've known for a long time, but some (like Kaz) I've gotten cool with during this interraction. Also big ups to Brutal for "keeping my face pretty" with the hot-ass avatars and banners.
