Showtime and I, your hosts, are joined with our talented judges, Colossal Spoons, DBella and Erzengel, to decide who will make it to Hype!wood and earn themselves a spot on the path to potential eFame and eStardom as the Hype! Idol! You’re intimidated? Just imagine how our Idol-wannabes must have felt!

Today we’re in sunny Hype! Community hoping to find some fresh, new talent. What can I say? We’re wishful thinkers.

Bamfer is sexy and I learned my sweet moves from Showtime. So, do not be mean.

Welcome back! We're off to a great start with Merk's version of Fantasy!

Merk's Audition

DBella: “I'm glad that you didn't try too hard to imitate Mariah but at the same time, I'm curious to see if you can reach the high notes. I'm quite impressed and look forward to hear you sing in the next round.”

Erzengel: “I must admit I was kinda impressed with his styling of course maybe it helped that I'm not familiar with all of Mariah Carey. ”

DBella: “I think there is potential here. A little out of tune here and there but maybe it's just not the right song for you? I say, yes, because I think you can sing. Just try to choose a song that suits your range.”

Colossal Spoons: "Haha, JP said "down on my knees" AND "grow for me" in the same sentence. Fantastic performance dude, you really got into it."

DBella: “I love this musical! I think you did a pretty decent job with the song. You could grow on me. Yes! ”

Erzengel: “Now here we go. Very nice, I'm familiar with this song from Little Shop of Horrors. A nice overall audition. He gets my vote. Yes.”

DBella: “I love Pokemon and I love SN for choosing this song! Quite brave, I'd say. However, it sounds more like... speaking than singing. I want to see SN in the next round to see if he can actually sing. He'd make a pretty good audio book narrator though. ”

Erzengel: “I think we should let SN in just for singing something form Pokemon. But I give him points for choosing this selection. ”

DBella: “Very nice. I think you've got a pretty good voice and you can certainly carry a tune. I like it.”

Erzengel: “Good job. Not a fan of JT at all but I recommend him to make it past the auditions.”

Erzengel: “I was expecting more of a "Kathleen Turneresque" voice. Maybe not the best song she could have chosen, but otherwise well done.”
