I probably have just about every little thing in me...but I'm black. I don't really like to lable myself anything but I have to say that I don't want to be called African American until white people are called white americans...because you see I'm not from Africa and my parents aren't from Africa and my grandfolk and so on until the slavemaster brought my family here aren't from Africa.

Uh Sorry but I just had to rant about my feelings on the word "African American". I'm not ashamed or anything it's just that I'm not from Africa, so why call myself African American?

the first fully modern humans probably did not totally resemle present day africans...black africans.

Like Nick Adams said in his book, when I'm at a club or party with a lot of white people, I always do that little scan to see if there are any other brothas around. Not that I don't trust you, but just in case something goes down, I want to make sure I got some backup.
