So after looking for an Eevee for a few weeks, I got two in two days. :p

Eevee's are super common in my area surprisingly. Can't find a Dratini anywhere yet though. I'd like more Growlithe too, but nope.

Eevee's are like weeds out here. I've got like 5 or 6 high CP evolved ones. I know a spot where Dratini spawn but I'm not parking by a gym waiting on that. I got ish I gotta do each day. Every now and then when I'm on the bus and drive by that spot I snag one though. I gotta check my schedule but I may go down to Coachman park in Downtown clearwater this Sat and farm Magikarp by the bay. I'm close to 100 candies so only 300 more to go for the Gyrados! :D

So I'm at 54/151 Pokemon caught. What number are you all at now?

19 for me. I just hit level 7 today too. :p

I'm level 16 and I have 80 Pokemon, but I haven't really played much in the past few weeks.

Does anyone else get rare Pokemon you never see that randomly come to your house??

I've seen two of the three starters in the 'nearby' panel several times over the past few weeks. They never show up on the map though.

I have not been motivated to play this at all. Just kind of been stockpiling pidgeys and other low evolves to go hard on XP boost when I finally pop it off.

Also, I got stuck with a woman's medium team Mystic shirt so if anyone can use that PM me and I'll send it to you.

So I got a Pikachu for the first time today. :)

Went to play in downtown Clearwater today. There are tons of pokestops down there. Coachman park has one of the best spots I've seen since there is an area that has 3 pokestops all right next to each other and it is not only on the edge of a tall grass area but is also right next to the shoreline so you get water Pokemon too. The whole time I was down there this lady was parked in her car setting of lures for those 3 stops haha. I was just making the rounds for a bit then I stayed by the lures til my ride came.

Got several good ones to evolve, but my best find was a Magikarp that was maxed out in cp. I have about 120 magikarp candies so if I go down there again this Saturday I'm sure I'll farm enough for a dope Gyrados. Magikarp pop up down there every 5-10 mins easy.

My 2 year old niece caught and named an Eevee yesterday.

you need 400 candies to evolve to gyarados

So how do you get more candy for your starter?

Either catch more of the same ones or hope an egg hatches with one in it since that gives you several. You get 3 per Pokemon and then you can transfer it for an extra one. Don't get attached to your starter too, it's all about CP so if you come across a better one then it's best to just transfer the lower one.

I have yet to see another starter, never mind another of my own. :p

Thats why I'm asking. I'm level 10, my highest level is 330ish and I haven't seen a single starter yet beyond my own.

I was all excited to pick a Squirtle at the beginning, because Squirtle is my jam. But the campus I live near has almost as many Bulbasaurs as it does Rattatas, so I've caught maybe one extra Squirtle and have already evolved an Ivysaur.

I rarely see the starters over here. I picked bulbasaur and every now and then I'll grab one. Squirtle and Charmander are even rarer for me. I did catch a Charmeleon the other day though.

Okay.. The "You are going to fast!" alert is really not good enough. Even if you are a passenger they should have it so that if you are moving faster than 15MPH Pokemon sightings shouldn't appear. Pokemon shouldn't appear. Gym's shouldn't appear. PokeStops shouldn't appear. If you are moving too fast you are essentially going to be looking at a blank map. Because I really think once they do a blank map over 15mph people will really stop driving and playing the game. But that's just my two cents.. :csad:

Japanese Woman dies another injured after getting hit by man playing Pokemon Go while driving. :(

I catch them on the bus to work. It goes over 30mph constantly.

Yeah I've caught a bunch while being a passenger in my friends car. But I never understand how I can catch them in a vehicle going so fast within the context of the Pokemon universe.

They're running from you and in the games you have a bike and running shoes. :o
