I just saw something about this for the first time on a top 100 most anticipated games of 2009 list. Does anyone have more information about it? It sounds like a really awesome concept and what I've seen of it looks solid.

Don't remember where I read it, but it's going to be first person. At first I didn't like that, as IMO the setting just suits third person better, but it looks like they'll be implementing it pretty well. It's not going to be just a shooter.

One pretty cool example is that, if you have a gun that's out of ammo, you can still use it to threaten people.

That's awesome. I saw a trailer on the official website that had Adam, the protagonist, trick some guys into killing themselves by tossing a bottle of water onto a dirt-covered skylight. The guys dove for the bottle and crashed through the skylight. All cinematics rather than gameplay, but still cool.

Yea, i didnt realize how many cool looking games are coming out this year. I Am Alive is one of em.

Yeah, but what else is new? I buy a few multi-platform releases for PC every year just to do my part. Fallout 3 still looks better on my PC than on a PS3 or 360, at least.

Yeah, I saw that last year, when Jade Raymond introduced it. So it's kinda looking like a first-person-survival-adventure.

Haha, she was on another GamesRadar list of things they're looking forward to in '09. They're like, "We don't care what the project is, we just want to see her smile again." On the one hand, that sort of gives gamers a bad name, but on the other hand, she's really hot.

The fact that it went from Q2 2009 to March 2009 doesn't bode well itself. I've never heard of devs going, "You know what? We're just spinning our wheels here. There's absolutely nothing we could improve in the next couple months, so why don't we go ahead and release it 2 or 3 months early?" I hope what the devs can manage in the time remaining is something good and we don't end up with yet another story of a promising game being killed by a rushed development timetable.

The change in developers disturbs me more than the change in format. If it's basically the same game, I don't mind if it's a PSN/Live release instead. But changing developers in the middle of development is kind of suspicious. I'll still take a look when it comes out, though. The game's got a really interesting concept.

People say the game is cancelled and that's why this footage was leaked which is really sad. I'm really digging the more disturbing and serious scenes in this video (One part feels really dark and harsh).

Oh man that looks sexy. I would buy it. It's like...well, honestly I don't know what it's like. It's a mix of a lot. Climbing, FPS shooting, stealth, horror, survival, action. Very exciting. Hope it comes out soon.
