I don't "get" Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

Superjail. If you don't watch it, you should.

I :hrt: Superjail.

Also, I dunno if Adult Swim is targeted at stoners, it's just that surreal humor is popular with that crowd. I started watching AS when I was like 10, before I even knew what pot looked like.

I like the show. If something funnier is on, I'll watch it, but it's usually the only show on when I watch TV at night so I've grown to enjoy it. I can't help but love Meatwad, and I really do find the randomness pretty funny, without drugs.

i don't do drugs and i enjoy aqua teen hunger force. it's not everyone's cup of tea, but it's pretty fun imo.

Robot Chicken and Superjail are the only Adult Swim shows I like. The rest is just mind-numbingly stupid.

Best show Adult Swim ever had was Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law.

I think Aqua Teen Hunger Force is one of those shows that might of started out funny and then lost it's way like Family Guy. I watched two episodes and couldn't get into it.

I like Robot Chicken , even though some of the skits fall completely flat.

ATHF is amazing.

Of course, I was dropped a lot as a baby and I smoke a lot of pot, so take that for what it's worth.

ATHF is amazing. Did I say that already?

Seriously though, it's not quite as good as it used to be, but it's still solid. I own the first four seasons and the movie, but I'd get the rest if I found them cheap.

spoons, is there ever a bad time for pudding?

well?... is there :o

I like this show pretty well. Gotten some great laughs out of it, and they'll tell about as a good a story as a show can tell in 11 minutes.

Oh, and Willie Nelson episode is the best episode of all time.

The golden-age for Adult Swim was 2002 to early 2004 or so. They had a block on Sunday that included Aqua Teen, Space Ghost, the Brak show, Sealab 2021 (back when it was good) and my favorite Harvey Birdman. They also showed Home Movies (which was infinitely funnier than Bob's Burgers). :awesome:

Sorry, but Adult Swim has never been quite as good since.

YES!
I like older Aqua Teen, not so much the newer ones. Aside Robot Chicken I don't tend to watch AS as much as I used to.

Sealab was, leaps and bounds, the funniest show that has ever been on Adult Swim.:cwink:

-"I've got the strength of a bear, that has the strength of TWO bears!".:funny:

The Screw of Damnation! We found it behind the armoire...of Despair!

fact.
Haha, Muprhy was the best.
fact.

Do you like other shows on Adult Swim? For instance, do you enjoy Robot Chicken at all?

It's just weird humor targeted primarily at stoners. I enjoy it sometimes, but I've certainly had "this is just stupid" moments while watching it too.

Robot Chicken is humor targeted at little kids. I hate Robot Chicken with a passion.

I will agree with this...although I think Metalocalypse is headed that way. I laugh at every single episode of either of those series. I like Tim and Eric but they fall flat sometimes...same with Superjail, ATHF, and The Boondocks with me. Although I enjoy watching all of those anyways.

Harvey Birdman was the best show they had, past tense. The Venture Brothers is the best show they have now.

I liked 'Tom Goes to the Mayor' more than 'Tim and Eric'.

'Tim and Eric'... I dunno... it's funny and really different than anything else on TV. But it's just a bit too insane to watch sober. I have to be in a certain... "mood." :awesome:

'Frisky Dingo' was another good show. Not as good as Murphy-'Sealab', but better than post-Murphy-'Sealab'.

I'm glad I never watched AS when Tim and Eric was on. That show is brutal to watch.

As much as I love Adult Swim and some of it's programs, it's basically one big tombstone for the old cartoons. Before all kids were told to get out of the pool, Cartoon Network would always put classic stuff on late at night, like Looney Tunes and Scooby-Doo. I honestly can't remember the last time I saw an original Bugs Bunny cartoon on TV before and that's saddening. What's even worse is that there are kids out there, right now, who have no clue who Bugs Bunny is.

That's why Boomerang exists, I guess.
