Greetings fellow Hypers,

I have a question involving Superman and the Justice League. Does anyone remember the name of the episode where Darkseid placed Superman into an alternate reality?

In this dimension Superman is married, has a kid, and appears to be living a tranquil life. This episode also includes Batman and Wonder Woman, who try to hold off Darkseid as long as possible.

The end result is a classic brutal, gritty, somewhat bloody, and epic battle between Superman and Darkseid. Can anyone provide the name of the episode? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

I believe you're talking about 'For The Man Who Has Everything' (Season 1 of JLU/Season 3 overall). Mongul (not Darkseid) managed to sneak the 'present' of the Black Mercy plant to Superman. The plant gives its victim the illusion that they live their ideal life while leaving them in a coma. It was a pretty kickass ep, based off the Alan Moore story in the Superman comics. (Superman Annual #11)
