If Darkseid IS going to appear, I guess we've seen his Smallville version already

not that much. Pull off the bones... and it's a DS suit, one you throw some spandex overtop of it. The facial make up would be different without saying. Simply Put: a DS costume is a Doomsday costume, without the bones.

Sure Smallville could go the epic fail route and try to reuse Doomsday's suit.
But yeah, you can't tell me Darkseid's suit could ever be remade from Doomsday.

They don't even have any believable way of doing that. CGI + a new Suit + good actor is the only way they can pull off Darkseid.

Doomsday's suit would have to be modified 2000 times over to even come close.
It would be bad to use Doomsday's suit.

That said, when he does show up, I hope we can get him to say this, "You are a great many things, Kal-El, but here, I am God."

We already had our first look at Darkseid back in Lazarus. He will manifest fully somewhere in the final 5 episodes.

Back in the 6th season's Combat, Titan reminds me of Mongul.

I doubt they would have a fully manfiested darkseid be cgi. They don't have the money to do that for more then a short scene or two. It would be far easier/cheaper to make costume and for example rehire doomsday or persuader stuntman.

Yeah, But Darkseid is smart. He speaks, so if we have the same stuntman, we better hope he knows how to act.

So, yeah, I'd rather have part CGI, Part costume, + a good actor. That's all we need.

Which is why Kane Hodder would work.
I seriously doubt the man who played Jason in three of the Friday the 13th movies is way outside their budget.

He's going to be cheaper than Ron regardless.

I still say it would be easier and way cheaper to make a full body costume like doomday or at least a partial suit/costume deal. The hire like I said either stunt guys who did persuader/doomsday both were pretty tall guys. Then ya could easily go with someone know forsomething for voice. Or if they want to stay cheap maybe just use someone from the show with voice altered. We will just have to see what they decide to do.

Yeah. It's a lot more complicated than that. Plus, it would be levels of stupid to recycle Doomsday's costume.

I mean, do I have to explain why it's much more complicated then just changing around a costume? What is Smallville's budget? 46 dollars and 60 cents?

Even I could pill out a Darkseid outfit with less than Smallville's current budget.

I don't understand why you want them to use Doomsday's suit. I mean, why?

I don't see how it would be much of a problem if they reuse some parts of doomsday suit. If its one one to save money for other more important things would be ok. Plus really all they probably need to reuse is head and arms. Which head could be mostly covered with helm. And then stunt guy wearing body costume over his body with pants and boots and we are good.
