I just sold my nvidia 5700 LE card

    For $20 and I'll be upgrading to a 7600GT for $30 more so I can play all these freaking games. If I'm not mistaken that should be quite the performance boost. It's ridiculous how slow my card is. It is absolutely useless.

    the 7600GT is good. I had it until I upgraded to the 8600GT

    I think you may have made an unnecessary upgrade. There isn't that much difference between a 7600gt and a 8600gt based on reviews I've read. I decided on the 7600gt because I can get a used one fairly cheaply and if I overclock the hell out of it I should have no problem getting a good fps. It's so cheap I'm surprised someone bought my 5700 LE for $20.

    You don't need Vista to support any card.
