I didn't know how popular this show was until I did some research and some research on David Lynch and I found out how this show was being spoofed in some of my favorite shows from way back and I didn't know it. So, I've been trying to watch the show from CBS.com.

Do you mean the original pilot movie....or the first episode of the series? When Twin Peaks was first put on DVD, it didn't include the original pilot.

I saw the first something or other of Twin Peaks (I didn't even know that the first TV episode wasn't the pilot). It confused me a lot. I liked some of the characters, but I never got around to watching the rest.

Well, I've read the plot summary for the pilot, which helped a bit after I saw the first episode, but I'll watch it.

I've never really understood the love for this show. Everything that didnt involve Coop was boring. Although I'm sure they'll say the same about Lost in 10 years time, it must be a cultural thing.
