I think the appeal of childhood is its inherent simplicity. You didn't have to make any decisions when you were a kid, you just got to watch TV, go play, and have fun with absolutely NO responsibilities.

Now I turn down the brightness on my computer screen because I have to pay my own damn electric bill. Yee-ha.

I'm stuck in that place right now. And I wish someone kicked me in the ass when I was way younger. The world was so open, and I was too eager, and I went and looked at it all and realized it was small, and I should have enjoyed the ignorance, but now I'm approaching adulthood and I don't want it.

Did anyone else here go through this phase in their adolescence where they rejected anything they saw as "for kids"? And then later on you realised being grown sucks, and you start re-discovering your childhood? Like me for example, I've recently started watching cartoons again(I love Boomerang).

I think one of the main bad things about being an adult is Bills.

Other than that, if you have a job and make good money, you could buy anything you wanted when you were a child.
