Hi everybody.
Unfortunately my Dad died In 2007.
A few years back, a friend of mine who knew that Father's Day was kind of a rough day for me, suggested we see MOS on father's Day.
I thought that it was a great idea, a tale of two fathers and one son.
We had a great time.

Sadly, I suffered another loss this year.
My Mom passed away about a week before BVS came out.
This year, Father's Day is a bit tougher, because they are both gone.
So, my friend is suggesting we do another movie on Father's Day.
This year, I do not see anything that screams a father/ son theme.
I am open to suggestions.
Thanks in advance, everyone and thanks for listening.

Although Real Steel has a father and son bonding in it, I think in this case it could be triggersome. It has a great end, but some of the scenes that it takes to get there are hard.

Can't ever go wrong with a classic comedy with a great dynamic duo though, Robin Williams and Billy Crystal in 'Father's Day.'

ever seen, "About Time"?

there are some surprisingly moving father/son moments between the main character Tim (played by Domhnall Gleeson) and his father (played by Bill Nighy, who lets face it is always brilliant )

First thing to come to my mind was Indiana Jones and the last crusade. Has the father/son relationship (although a strained one) but I guess really my dad and I personally bonded over those movies.

As far as right now though, finding dory has a pretty major plot point revolving around both parents. It's really moving imo. But I'm not sure if that's your cup of tea.

Go and see 'the nice guys' comedy by two quality actors will cheer you up and remind you of good times.

Oh, definitely see About Time.

These are all interesting choices.
Keep them coming.
I have thought about Finding Dory.
But my friends little girl is leaving town for three weeks, she might t want to see it with her first.
Thanks guys, I really appreciate it.

You really can't go wrong with Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

What about Return of the Jedi? Strong father/son themes.
