All right, so for Halloween, I used a pretty crappy dark purple coat, but I'm actually working on a Batman film with some friends. I figured now I can buy a nice expensive one that is extremely screen accurate. I was looking at the Red Balls coat but the more to select from the better! So help!

eBay..

they got some for a few hundred that kick absolute ass

Sithcamaro's Joker coat looks pretty good, although it costs $750.

The Hot Topic "Tripp" ones from Halloween were not entirely screen-accurate, but they looked pretty good & were a steal at $60. You might be able to find them on eBay, although I'm not sure what the prices for them are like.

I got one of those and I'm really not happy with it. I'm not sure if it was my bad luck or they're all like that, but mine really doesn't feel comfortable to wear and it isn't even lined.

I'd reccomend just forking out the money for something of good quality, if for nothing more than to just feel right in it.

Or you can track down a seamstress to alter it if you can spare the time, might save you a couple pounds or dollars or whatever currency your country of choice barters with.

I thought I'd just add if you were going to drop 750 on a coat I'd recommend going with Indy Magnoli it's a bit more expensive but his work and service are second to none. If I had the cash I'd have every single joker piece he makes.
