My iPod just died and I'm on the lookout for a MP3 player which won't stop working a year after I buy it.

Any suggestions?

no... all the MP3 players I have owned never lasted a year, even when they were highly recommended.

Solution = Get another iPod

i don't know exactly how long it's lasted, but it's been well over a year and a half....but my creative 1gb MuVo as been used almost every day, and still works perfectly.

even lost the back casing for the batteries, and they sent me another within days free of charge.

look at some of creative's products :up:

yeah if you're looking for something that will last, buy a creative, if you're looking for something fasionable and has all the "goodies" buy an ipod. I have a 30gb Zen jukebox that is crystal clear and has been everyday for 8 hours for almost 2 years. Seriously. Creative is the way to go.

*its the jukebox at my work*

I can't understand how people break their iPods. I've got four of them and have never had any problems with any of them. WTF do you people do to your earthly possessions? :confused:

I've got an Iriver that's lasted over a year...but I personally hate the thing

Get an Ipod with the apple care package

I dropped my iPod mini like, a few times and it f**ked up. My nano is doing just fine though, locked up only once.

Toshiba Gigabeat works like a charm and it's over a year old.

The Zune, you could break the floor if you dropped that thing...
