I Need Some Book Reviews!!!!

Help a Hypster out!

So I've published 3 books so far (working toward the 4th) and two of the three have next to no reviews. Without reviews people won't bother trying them out, assuming they suck. Cicada Song's getting good reviews and is selling between 70-100 copies a month (which is awesome) but my other two books aren't selling at all. From the Ruin of Extinction is my newest novel and it's Christian Fantasy. The Adventures of Flitter & Plank is my juvenile chapter book set at a 3rd grade reading level.

So I'm just curious if any of you would be willing to give any of my 3 books a read with the intent of reviewing them on Amazon and Goodreads. I can email the manuscripts to you, so you won't have to purchase them (unless you just want to buy the book off Amazon, then that's cool too). If you like them, leave reviews and tell a friend. My primary focus here is to get the two non-selling books some attention (From the Ruin of Extinction and The Adventures of Flitter & Plank), but if Cicada Song's then feel free to request that one instead.

I had it tested in my local school district and that's the reading level it showed up as. So basically, it's written so that 3rd graders can read it. I've had a few adults read and love it. It's just easy to read.

From the Ruin of Extinction is a Christian novel that talks about faith but doesn't preach or hammer you over the head with religion. The idea there is that I hate being preached at (despite being a Christian) so I don't want to preach to others. I do talk about faith and the effect it can have on others, though, so the messages are more subtle. I've had a friend recently read it and he said he liked how it's definitely faith-based but that it reads as a genuine fantasy adventure. You can read and enjoy the story no matter where your faith (or lack of faith) is.

Oh, actually... on a whim I just submitted From the Ruin of Extinction to a publishing agency who deals with that sort of story with the promise that it's only been read by a few people (and therefor, isn't ruined). So I might hold off on handing that one out until I hear back from them. But if they decline it or take too long to reply then I'll be happy to hand it out (unless you buy it on Amazon, in which case have at it).

I bought all three books as digital downloads. The one click this is annoying and since I don't have a kindle I'll need to read them on my PC (Oh well)

I'll be able to start reading soon. I certainly hope I enjoy your writing style.
Good luck with the publishing house. I know getting them to notice people is a pain.

I have lots written and notes but it was going to be in a web comic format but I lost my artist. I can't afford to hire an artist so now I need to adapt it to written form. Which is harder then you'd think.

I'm trying my first hand at an original graphic novel and have lucked out to get an artist. I'm worried though because he's apparently sketchy on dropping out of projects. We have good history, though, so I'm hoping it goes well. He does art and inking and my friend and I are doing writing. I have an editing friend who's experienced in the business who's going to help me on that front, so that's a big plus. Now I'm just hoping to find a letterer who knows what they're doing.
