Iron Man 2 I Want Me Some Fin Fan Foom

Heard a rumor Fin Fan Foom may have a cameo in Iron Man 2. That would be so awesome if true. Speculating this IS true what would you think the context would be?

Taking orders from a mysterious figure?

Being freed by unsuspecting innocents?

Setting up Avengers or IM 3?

Actually confronting IM in 2?

Other...

That's just like saying I hope they avoid mobsters and deranged lunatics in the next Batman film or giant lizards or animal based villains in a future Spider-Man movie. Or I hope the X-Men don't fight evil mutants in the next film.

it's actually Fin FANG Foom.

There was talk of it being an armored Dragon designed ship or armor in a later sequel.
With Interweaving Thor's mythos they could easily incorporate him as a real flesh and
blood villain.

Personally, I wouldn't mind if they went with the robotic dragon look and have him as a guard/protector of the Mandarin.

The difference is though that the three examples you mentioned all fit the overall theme of their respective hero's rogues gallery.

Fing Fang Foom and Ultimo don't really fit in with the theme of Iron Man's rogues gallery of evil businessmen, terrorists, and guys outfitted with hi-tech weaponry or their own armor.

I hate the idea of teaming Fin Fang Foom and The Mandarin. Absolutely hate it.

The guy I want to see teamed with The Mandarin is Ghost. There's a nice contrast there between brutal conquering kung fu fighting Mandarin and ultra-professional Ghost.

That same thinking was the reason there were no Sentinals in the X-Men movies (the danger room scene doesn't count) and why Galactus ended up being a giant cloud.

Maybe Fin Fang Foom wouldn't fit, but Ultimo would.

But if done like the unfinished Viva Las Vegas comic, FFF would fit, in fact that comic is based off the movie universe.

I happen to agree that this sounds like the best villain combo for the 3rd film.

Fin Fang Foom is going to be in this movie?

Well, I suppose it might make sense...if the next movie in this Marvel Universe is Thor, then I guess it's the right time then ever to bring in a giant dragon as well.
