and I picked up on something that had totally gotten by me; when he was chatting online, seeking advice on what to do about Harry & Talon, his friend's screen name was GS122. Obviously the "GS" stands for Gwen Stacy, as further proven by the content/cover af Amazing #122:

I felt like a clown for not catching it sooner.

Tidbits like that are probably the only good thing about that HORRIBLE MTV show. God i can't stand watching it, its to bad they decided to go the same route with the new Iron Man show too.

From what I've seen, they went an even worse route with Iron Man. Teen Tony? WTF?

I recall a few folks on these boards picked up on that when the show was first run. The one mistake being that Gwen died in ASM 121.

The show wasn't very good. And that ep in particular was goofy as hell. Peter was soft on a dangerous criminal (Note how she endangered lives to escape him in the prologue) so Harry can have someone to date? I think if Harry got over MJ leaving him for Peter, he'd get over his clepto chick going to jail. Especially since her life style would have put Harry's life at risk if they stayed together.

THere were numerous thing wrong with the show. It had some entertainment value, but was truly a slap in the face to hardcore Spidey fans.

It was an MTV show, so I sort of appreciated it for what it was: Spider-Man with a shiny, pretty new coat... catering to every audience other than the comic book one! :csad:
