I'm a Libertarian/semi-internet-anarchist, so ideally I'd like to see no moderation, BUT the option to not only ignore posters of your choice, but also any post that quotes them, or contains their screen name...or certain "key words".

Also, I think it's funny how whenever they announce a new Mod, there's a deluge of questions, "What do I have to do to be a Mod?!?"

Sure it'd be nice to be able to lock/delete crap threads, or ban crap posters.
But these people who crave the position are freaky, because the every day demands of the job don't sound like fun at all.

It seems that they have a small scale lust for "power", and have no inroads to getting any, except on a comicbook fan site.

Reminds me of some people who really, really want to be cops.
It's a scary, boring, thankless, dangerous job.
But yeah, when you say "FREEZE!" people have to FREEZE!
