Same thing I told my boss at Dominos a few months ago when he asked if I wanted to be a manager. **** that. I'd rather stay at the litle man's level and joke around and have fun. A position where I'm forced to yell at people and sometimes fire/ban them is not for me.

Plus, like Day 3 I'd get drunk and pissed and start banning people left and right.

Anyway, the Hype is fun, but I think an unpaid job here would be teh sucky.

The only reason I took the management job at my work was that I need a lot of money to make the movies I want to make and to buy cherry Gibson Les Pauls.
But when they asked me, I asked them to give me four days to think about it, and I regret it every day (except for the money), 'cause the pressure of pretending like you care about things you don't care about, and the stress of having to be the Mommy to co-workers (or else it's your neck ).....SAWKS ayuss.

In all honesty, I wouldn't be able to deal with the duty before ethics.

It'd be hard for me to set aside my likes for certain posters, only to have a fellow mod who got their feelings hurt make a drastic decision

In the time I've been here, I've seen mods only ease up on a punishment and never admit to any wrong doing when they clearly were. Having to always side with your fellow mods, would be like going against my personal ethics.

It probably something along these lines:
Mod 1: I think Poster A and B would make a good mod.
Mod 2: I think B would be good.
Mod 3: I have no problem with B.

It's also pretty much who you kinda know.

Making it sound like you are a Jedi awaiting the Trials is just silly.

lol, I don't think of it that way...

I think of it more like a level of maturity... some people are mature enough about it at the beginning, and some need time to grow up before they take on that responsibility.
