I would love to be a mod. I would be fair, just and hear everyone out if theres a problem.

I thought it was red from my allergies.:csad:

I thought it was a tribute to Superman's cape...we were both wrong.

It's like the reveal at the end of Sixth Sense...you're a MOD C. Lee. :wow:

I feel that people pay as much attention to me as to Bruce in that movie.:oldrazz:

Do you play the love interest of Bruce's wife? I hope not, that guy had no game.

Nah...she was too skinny for my tastes.....I prefer more curves.

The girl that threw up in the tent? Mischa Barton?

Shes curvy for a ghost.

Been there, Done that.

If they asked I might do it again but I'm not looking for the job.

No. :(
It contains Vulgarity, Nudity, Profanity, and Adult Situations and it's bi-monthly.
Also there are no subscribers. I just leave it on random doorsteps during drinking binges.

Well, I guess mailing in the subscription card I found is pointless. If I were asked to be mod I would consider. I have done it on m friends forums. Is it realistic that I would be asked to be a Mod? Probably not.

i'd be tempted to try but i'd probably wash out for three reasons
normally i can only get on the computer 2 or 3 times a day
,2 due to dial up i have to stay offline if my sister is expecting an important call
3 most of you know haw i try to keep threads on topic most posters would have me demoddedwithin45 minutes

Yes.

But then I'd ban everybody and spam the place with unimaginable horrible grotesque pornography of some sort.

I've been a mod on other forums. I don't really think I'm mod material. That's why I'm no longer mod there.

I actually was asked, but had to decline because I knew I didn't have the time to do the job properly.

sure, i would. that would be a nice opportunity, and a great responsibility, i mean i do have to time to do it. :)

I just want to know how many buttons they have and what they actually do, if you're a mod. Other than that, No.

Is there any other reason for living? :cmad:

I think people overestimate how glamorous moderating on a message board is. As in...it's not glamorous at all. It sucks nearly all the fun out of posting. Now you can't just post and have fun with all your friends on the board; you have to watch every single thread to make sure no one's crossing the line. Now you don't come and go as you please; you feel obligated to be on the boards, watching and waiting for something "bad" to happen. Now you're not everyone's friend anymore, you're "one of them" and your PM box is no longer a fun place to visit thanks to all the whining and "hate mail" you get. Suddenly, it all starts to become work rather than play, and most boards don't pay moderators for their time in any capacity. The moderators here are double-damned because they're sort of left to their own devices without any real guidelines or processes which leads to all sorts of poor moderating decisions and inconsistencies amongst moderators (some are good, some just aren't) and it also leads to them tripping over each other and sending mixed messages to posters.

No, I wouldn't moderate here even if asked. The board is what it is and it will always be run this way (which is why I get a kick out of people posting threads to complain about it, because it's not going to change). The mods that do a good job here like Dew, Drak, DL, and DM all get my respect because I do know what it's like to be their shoes from my experiences on other boards. I'd just never want to be one of them.
