Not bloody likely. The man has gone toe-to-toe with Venom, the Rhino, the Hulk & even JUGGERNAUT. Any one of those guys would eat Bane for breakfast. And they don't have a tube he can yank out and render them powerless.

Well, since NOBODY can take Doomsday single-handed that's just not a fair scenario. As for him holding his own, why don't you ask some of his numerous satisfied customers?

Spider-Man has arguably THE greatest rogues gallery of any superhero in comics (rivaled, IMO, only by Batman's) and has proven himself against them time and time again. You're really selling him short.

If Spider-Man was in the DC Universe then the way he got his powers wouldn't be scientific; it would either be an alien and/or magic thing, OR he wouldn't have powers, and he would Batman it: creating his own gadgets etc., and I don't think that he would be in any major groups because he wouldn't fit in, so he'd probably be in one of the Justice League spawns.

I agreee with RedX that Spidey's origin would have been changed since Marvel always dealt with "real" superheroes in terms of how they get their powers, while DC is more towards aliens and other worlds. I don't think he would have gotten his powers from a spider, but I could see them keep the web cartridges and him using that.
