The punisher could possibly work in gotham but him and batman would get into too many scuffles.

Wolverine. I don't know of any important DC character similar to him.
He would live anywhere and face any villain at some point (pretty much the same as in MU), but should definitely throw down with Batman (who'd see him as a villain) every now and then. Could also have a crossover with Lobo.

It'd be great to see Batman beat the living $*** out of Wolverine. It'd be a three-hour fight! Batman keeps owning him, but Wolverine keeps getting back up for more!

Too many choices, I would LOVE to see Captain America interact with Batman and at a different occassion interact with Superman. And still at a different point interact with Wonder Woman.
I would love the X-Men to be in the DC universe, to see how they were treated there and use mutants instead of Meta Humans.
The Fantastic Four seem like they would fit in with the DC universe.

Many many of the characters mentioned would be cool.

I think some that DC already has are like Hawkeye, Namor.
Too many choices, but those would be my picks at the moment.
Captain America, X-Men, FF.

Captain America is the only superhero Marvel has who deserves the DCU.

He's not a big name but I could see Deadpool fitting in the DCU, just make gim a metahuman instead of a mutant

He already kinda is. On the Crime Syndicate Earth, that Earth's Deathstroke is basically Deadpool in orange.

Forgot about that, Damn, For some reason I like Deadpool more, I think it's because he talks a lot of s**t. I did like Deathstroke/slade in the titans cartoon though.

I would like to Captain America have a trip into the DC universe. Fighting along side the JSA during world war 2.

Yes he would keep his memory of who he is. He would be the "Pre Frozen" Cap. So he would not know how WW2 ended up.

Any thoughts?

Hulk in Metropolis, Ghost Rider in Gotham City.

Superman in the Avengers and Lobo in the Thunderbolts

Wolverine. I don't know of any important DC character similar to him.
How about Timberwolf, the guy he's based off of, or Lobo, the guy who's based off of him?

Or, you know, any of the five trillion "feral extreme furry animalistic CRAZY BADGOOD HEROVILLAIN EXTREME!!!" ripoffs from the 1990s. I mean, really? You're honestly going to say that Wolverine hasn't been done to death? That there aren't characters like him littering both of the big two universes?

It's the easiest character to write, and the least exciting to read. Of course every writer has invented their own version. It's practically a mandate for graduating Comic Book Writers' College.

No, you didn't read it right. The anti-matter version of Deathstroke is basically Deadpool in Orange. Not the regular Deathstroke. He really isn't anything at all like Deadpool.

then that IS good:star:

Except that Aristotle's definition of heroic includes having no flaws or personality whatsoever. If you have a sick aunt and you have to get her medicine and fight a bad guy, don't ever complain about it because that's not heroic.

Iron Man. He'll take every DCU women to bed, including Martha Kent.

No, I just don't think that a universe characterized by Wolverines and Punishers is anywhere near as heroic as a universe characterized by Supermen and Green Lanterns.
