Depends on the day for me. Probably just because death kind of scares me in the end, and knowing I would not have to fear it would be welcome. Though everyone keeps talking about what if Earth blows up or whatever. Technically I assume that you could still be killed, just not die of natural causes...which I guess would be a sucky immortality than.

It'd be messed up if you did become immortal and you end up going to prison for life.

In this country, I'd protest that as cruel and unusual punishment, unless the immortal is a mass murderer more then 5 times over or killed a president/Governor/congressperson.

No. I was raised in a very fundamental Christian home and taught that Heaven/Hell would be an eternal deal, and the endlessness of the afterlife always unnerved me-- I don't like the thought of anything not having an end. I'm not very religious anymore, but I still wouldn't want to be on Earth with no end to my time in sight. Maybe when I'm older, I'll think differently.
