If you could fish any project(s) out of Development Hell...

I've read a little about that. I can only assume the execution was terrible, because it sounds like it could've made a decent tragedy.

Well, one guy who saw the film described it as jerry's funny take on Schindler's List. Let us imagine that for a minute.

I would have really liked to see Brando's"One-Eyed Jacks" if it had been directed as planned by Stanley Kubrick. A Stanley Kubrick's Western would have been so awesome.

It's crazy how good looking Brando was. The weird thing is that when he gained all that weight, he wasn't even that old by today's standards.

The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, based on Michael Chabon's awesome novel about two Siegel and Shuster-esque young guys who get famous creating the superhero The Escapist in 1930s New York. There was talk ages ago of a movie with Jamie Bell as Joe Kavalier and Natalie Portman as Rosa Saks, but the idea is pretty dead. Shame, because it's one of those epics with a little bit of everything.

Hells yeah. I was really hoping that would happen. I'm really not sure that one movie could tell the whole story, though.

Just read about the Wachowski Bros' "Plastic Man", starring Keanu Reeves. I'm in.

The Crow reboot. No question. Big fan of the mythology.

A Where's Wally? chase/adventure movie trilogy involving time travel, fantastic/surreal/fictional worlds and alternative historic events, just like in the books. There's an unlimited amount of good stuff there if they can come up with a suitable plot.

Vlad the Impaler film starring Daniel Day Lewis and directed by Kubrick. An italian producer approached both about the project very early on in the 90s. DDL was game, but Kubrick wanted to focus on AI.

Speaking of Kubrick, the Napoleon epic that the studios squashed because they thought the budget was too big and, for whatever asinine reason, the suits concluded historical epics were supposedly 'out of vogue' at that time (early 70's).

Kubrick later said it would have been one of his best films. :(

Oh I see people have already mentioned 'Napoleon.' Well, then the 'ROME' film that was to be a continuation of the HBO series. And the 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?' Prequel where he fights ****ing Nazis. Disney thought it was too dark.

I wanted them to do Plastic Man, only with Jim Carrey, so badly.
That would have been great:up: Actually it would still be great with Carrey as an aging Plastic Man. Unforgiven meets weird superhero film:woot:
