If you could live (or relive) any decade of any year...Which decade and why?

Would you rather relive a period in your life at that age again, or live in a different decade outside of your lifetime at your current age?

I'd definitely want to be back in the 80's again, for sure, early 80's to be exact.

What was cool about the 80's? I just watched the Atari documentary on Netflix. It looked like fun time

Well, for me personally, it was the a great decade to grow up in, awesome movies, & the TONS of action figures there were whenever I took a stroll amongst the toy aisles, video games for home use were in there infancy, still good though.

I'm leaning towards 2000 as a decade to relive. Ah what simple good times  It's hard to believe it is 2015. I'll see something from 2005 or so and think it is fairly recent, then it dawns on me that was 10 years ago  MINDTRIP!

The 80's definitely, I would so much love to revisit that decade again, I was a kid back then with my only worries being getting good grades and hoping the VCR would record programs while I was not at home.

And for a kid it was a blast, there were great cartoons/movies/music/toys/video games.

When you have a Tardis, you can make more decisions than just what year.

late 80s or 90s, surely before 9/11, worlds been kind of in a **** storm since then, sure it has always been in some places but felt like the bubble I was living in was popped that day.

Easy. The year the library of Alexandria was burned down. Id go back and stop it from burbing down or die trying.

My favorite years personally (from late teens onwards) was 1999, 2005, 2008 and 2011. So I'd like to relive any of those. Historically I'd like to go to gas-lit Victorian 1890's London. ( While I'm also interested in Ancient Rome and feudal-era Japan, I'd die pretty quickly in those two places)

Watch out for Jack The Ripper. :o

heh, I think anything pre-1980s gets a bit too dicey if not a white male

I'd also love to see your best Maximus impersonation. :o

Early - Mid 1990's. At my current age of 27. Truthfully, anything pre 9/11 sounds nice to me.

I'd like to live in a world before hearing the words hashtags and selfies thrown around as much as the usage of acronyms. I'd go to a lot of concerts in Seattle and work on my novel.

Yes, thank you. This. Also an era before a million self-righteous social justice warriors adopted a ton of phony causes as they competed for their 15 seconds of fame.

Once again, you've brought enlightenment to the Hype, Triple J.

I'd want to go back to the 80's because I recall feeling safer back then. The only real threats came from my alcoholic father and the bullies at school, not the general populace who just kept to themselves. That and there wasn't all this invasive technology turning human beings into apathetic animals.

Maybe 80's, 40's or 50's. Of course only if I could come back when I want.

****, I left this part out. Good call.
I can't muster the energy to go down the rabbit hole and discuss those idiots.
