If you could live in any time period, when, where and why?

You would find out they just picked it up with there bare hands and feel like a fool haha

No **** that's how they did it, but I mean watching them actually do it.

I'd personally have to say the future, I'm African American, so any other period of time would pretty much have me out of luck...

Yeah we get limited choices. I would like to go back to the wild west but I'm afraid I'd get lynched or something :csad:

I'd like to live in the 70's. Drugs was really cool then. Everything was...groovy! Lol

part of me would have love to live in ancient greece, mostly for the beauty.

1990s, yep, sneakers with the pumps, fades, bright colored jeans, overalls with one strap unbuttoned, fair saturday morning cartoons, Boyz to Men, Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, New Kids on The block round 1, oversized clothes, TGIF tv thats right, Family Matters, Full House, Step By Step.

With the knowledge of history that you have right now, you'd do all right no matter when you were.

You'd just have to escape from your slave masters first and follow the freedom train.

Afterwards, you'd look like a genius.

During the stronghold of the Greek/Roman empire...but I would want to be rich.

Otherwise...in the late 1800's. Having a ranch, riding a horse, camping out, marrying teenage girls, etc. = the life.

I'd go for the 80s. I did live in the 80s, but only fifty-some percent of them and I was a wee child and hardly able to appreciate the music and cinema (not to mention fashion!) of the time.

Oh you people are poons...picking a time period in which you were already living in...LAME:o

meh, i probably wouldn't go back at all, or forward

the devil you know is better than the one you don't.

instead I would move location rather than time.

why live in a time before flushable toilets, before air conditioning or heating, before doctors figured out the deal about washing hands? On top of just that, would really suck if you weren't white. And the way the world is, the future might be a pain in the ass aswell.

I'd go back to 1880s and buy stock in Wells Fargo and will it to my future self.

The American Revolution and the period thereafter.

I would have loved to have been a Constitutional delegate, working alongside the great minds of Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, John Adams and Charles Pinckney.

Exactly. Add to that list the invention of quality deodorant and soap.

And think about it -- how long have women been shaving their legs and underarms? I think I'll stick to living in the 21st century.

....But I'd be willing to visit the Mesozoic Era and hang with the dinosaurs on vacation. :cwink:
