Well...the actual Eddie Brock IS dead...but the symbiote obviously took Eddie's DNA, like it took Peter's, so...with just a bit of DNA, it regenerated Venom...and, although the real Eddie is dead, Eddie's body could show up sometime, if the mask moves down, it could show Eddie's face, just to torture Spidey...and, for Carnage...two things could happen:

1.) Cletus Kasady. He could go on a rampage at the college that Dr. Connors works at, and while he murders some people, runs into Doc Connors, and puts him in hostage too...and while doing so, the trace of symbiote could jump unto Kasady while Spider-Man swoops in, and cops barg in, shooting him, red blood + black symbiote, mixes into Carnage...this happens, freaking everyone out, bringing up the first battle of at least two with newly-created Carnage and Spider-Man...or

2.) Dr. Connors could treat the trace of symbiote much like the Ultimate version...while he was Lizard, he fights Spider-Man, and to lead up to a Spider-Man 5, he could notice some of Spidey's blood on his clothes...use the symbiote, Peter's blood and his own DNA...to create the Carnage being...it easily could be handled...

A new Venom using Eddie's DNA, and bringing up images of Eddie Brock inside it to play mind games with Peter...and also Carnage, Kasady or no Kasady.

Kasady saw Eddie Brock become Venom by the church entrance in Spider-Man 3 the game.

It just seems weird that Raimi would basically disintegrate Brock if he wanted to use Venom in SM4.The whole disintegrate means that he wants to make sure that he isn't gonna use him again.
