Sequels Ign Spidey 4 lives! Someone may not be dead!

God damn no carnage for these movies..... please. Raimi would definetly not do a carnage movie, or if hes really forced to, he wont make the best version of it (if its even possible for carnage to have a good transition onto the big screen)

Ladies and Gentlemen, the person is Eddie Brock and he will live on in a spinoff of Spiderman in the form of Venom vs Carnage. This is the likely scenario. There will be no more symbiotes for Spiderman movies.

Harry doesn't die. The preformance enhancers bring him back to life! Told ya!

This is what I've been saying for months!

If harry comes back to be a villian it would make the ending for sm3 useless though, forgiveness is the theme for the ending but the return of the goblin from the grave would make that theme useless......

but i would give anything to see harry come back in the glider to screw up parker's wedding.

It's Harry,but only as a flashback,or as a hologram on a computer,or in a dream sequence.We won't see New Goblin or Venom back.

My guess would be ofcourse Venom, why because he's box office gold!

Venom/Carnage/and Lizard, that would be one kick-ass Spiderman 4!

Venom/Carnage/Lizard....don't fit....

Anyway, I think it would likely be Brock...but part of me is hoping...if anyone would come back that they are referring to Willem Dafoe and the return of Norman Osborn. The only villain that would bring something new if they returned and was not done visual justice the first time around.

After SM3 Harry will probably be considered a hero to the city, and you will probably see videos of him as the city gives him a day they celebrate him.It doesn't mean Venom is gonna be back.

What else are they going to do with Venom? He's a one trick pony. Bringing him back just to have another crack at Peter again is just rehashing SM-3.

Assuming we don't get a sinister 6 movie, the same could be said about bringing doc ock back, it'd just be rehashing sm2.

I seriously doubt that.

If Venom came back he would be awesome to see,but he wouldn't have good closure as he does in SM3,and you want each villain to have the best closure that they can get,and I can't see them topping what they did for Venom in SM3.

The difference with Ock is that there's other classic storylines of his to use. Master Planner, Sinister Six, death of Captain Stacy etc.

What else has Venom got?? Nothing.

Really, this whole "Someone may not actually be dead" stuff sounds like nonsense. Why wouldn't they name the actor who said it? What difference would it make?

Because if they name the actor who said it, then we would know which character they play, and then we would know which character might not die... they're trying not to spoil the movie for anyone.

They released a novelization of the movie a whole month and half before the movie was released.

So, that holds no water. Wouldn't surprise me if this was a false rumour started by some fool trying to hype everyone up.

I think someone just made up this rumor, because they didn't like seeing their favorite villain die.All this is gonna do is set Venom fans up to be disappointed again.

IGN is pretty reputable. Besides, I've read the novel. Comparing it to the clips have previews that we've already seen, there are a lot of differences. Novels do not dictate what happens in the movie. Look at the differences between the Jurassic Park book and the movie. Look at the differences between all the Harry Potter films. Granted, the movies where based on the books, unlike SM3 where the novel is based on the movie - but the point is still the same. There were even a lot of differences between the novels and movies for SM1 and SM2. I think we're in for a bit of a twist...

But Raimi said you can't do the same thing that you did in the previous movie, you have to do something new.And he wasn't crazy about the symbiote villain in the first place.

^So after hearing Raimi say those two things,I doubt we will see anything symbiote related at all.

But everything that's important that happened in SM-3 was in the novel. Slight tweaks as to how it happened in some cases, but nevertheless all happened just the same.

No, I think this is just a rumour someone started. Just doesn't have any credibility, IMO. All too vague with nothing backing it up.

Lord, no. Please keep Venom out of the 4th movie. Lets not start the "Carnage for Spidey 4" speculation.

Lizard possibly being in Spidey 4 is a great idea.
Having Venom die in Spidey 3
then come back in the next movie kinda ruins Spidey 3 a bit. Plus the appeal of each movie was that there was a different villain in each and Spidey had to face newer personal problems.

And what would Carnage do in SM4 anyway? Kill people just because? He's not the Joker. At least the black costume in SM3 brrought out the dark side of Peter which was a cool twist, movie-wise, for his character, while eddie Brock also played a nice role in the movie. What would Cletus Kasady do?

I say keep the villains of SM3 away from SM4 and bring in new faces. Lizard, yay!

You know what? All of this speculation is pretty much pointless right now anyway. Nothing has been confirmed for Spider-Man 4 other than the fact the producers said they will make it. Raimi has not signed on, nor as the rest of the cast, nor have any screen-writers. So how about we wait to past judgement until we see details of Spider-Man 4 being announced?

Each movie should be about spidey facing new problems along with new villains. You wouldn't want to see spidey lose his powers again in SM4 would you, that's how I feel about seeing a symbiote villain again in SM4.
