But heres what I do hope...that they don't screw it up. And I'm sure a lot of you feel the same way...I mean, many of us would rather see an X4 before a spin off movie of an Xman or woman.
Some absolutes...and definite "NO!"s....They better not introduce, for some god awful reason to attract fans and make money...Gambit. They better not treat this like one other spin-off...Elektra anyone?
If what Kinberg says about...Sabertooth being a character that they want to explore more...and Omega Red being a likely candidate for who they cut in X3 and want to use in the spin off...than this is already starting to sound interesting...David Benoif doing the screenplay...more good news.
I'm not gonna go into my ideas about what I think a good outline for a story would be...but heres one thing I do want...I want them to end it on a somber note...a depressing end to Wolverines new beginnings...weapon x, his amnesia...I kinda want to see him end up alone and on the run...and not quite tying into X1 but really setting up as best they can how it does. We need to feel for him as a character, as a different Wolverine we as the audience have come to know in the movies...we may not like him for the things he does, all the revealing things about his dark past...but we need to care...and not just wait for the next fight scene...or next new cameo.
