I think it was all just a case of being in the right place, with a good idea, at a strange time...

The Cyclops and Phoenix movie was an idea i came up with after the end of x-men 2, sort of Cyclops: The Search For Jean. This was at a time when i realised that when they do make x-men 3 they wont have much screentime for them all so they will end up making some killed of quick. Turns out i was right.
But all i can say is, its a shame i didnt manage to have a longer chat with Zak i could of illaborated more on my idea. But hey i planted the seeds.
Inccidently, if i was to conceive the idea of a Cyclops: The Search For Phoenix would feature alot of new characters as well as new locations.
You see, were told an alternative ending showed Cyclops in a hospital, but didnt say were. Phoenix died but her coffin was disturbed. I could look at it two ways but my idea of a story would be.
Cyclops awakes in a hospital of which he blows off the roof. Were did he end up Alaska. Now blind, as he has no special glasses or visor, he is taken to a mysterious british doctor aka Nathaniel Essex, who works as a mutant specialist doctor. However Mr Essex belongs to a secrete sociaty , The Hellfire of which tells scott of a powerful woman they found and has become one of the most powerful leaders of the hellfire, they are of course talking about the Phoenix... its the dark phoenix, she has awoken basically the story would be kind of the hellfire manipulating the phoenix at the same time Cyclops becomes more of a vigilanti on the road in search of a woman who is causing a warpath.
