Why did they do it though? Evil and hate make people do wicked and unexplainable things but why did the women do it? They seemed "willing"?

It targets stupid people . I don't know if race is a factor here but that was probably why the kids targeted them in the first place , unfortunately they just happened to be stupid enough to drink piss.

These folks should have caught on. If they had no idea what was going on and were duped then ok . However alot of people do things without thinking about it and then they appear on the news a victims . It remind me of those people that stripped down in a mcdonalds .

 

Even if they were "willing", I doubt their willingness exceeded that of a highly intoxicated and/or mentally disabled person being encouraged to do degrading things.

If anyone has seen the Bum Fights series you'll know what I mean.

Obviously if there is still an undercurrent of racism in the deep American south more then half a century after Jim Crow laws and the like were abolished, then it is no surprised that less then 30 years after a vicious system of apartheid was dismantled there are even more adamant racist beneath the surface.

Something like this was probably done with the sentiment look at the dumb ****** just like an animal, do what you tell it too.

For people to just see this as an instance of people being stupid is an egregious understatement.

 

Maybe they shouldn't've behaved as stupid animals, doing what they're told at their own expense.

We will need more information about this to really know. Who knows if the person who said that they seemed like willing participants wasn't simply seeing what they wanted too?
Maybe the people were intimidated into doing it, or like I said, maybe they had substance abuse problems and/or mental problems that definitely wouldn't make the situation right.

I remember kids in my highschool encouraging this guy with downsyndrome to take random crap out of the toilet and put it in the sinks and all over the place.

They coaxed him into thinking it was a fun thing, so he did it.
I certainly don't see it as a fault of his own.

It isn't that weird actually, Native Americans were obviously much better adapted to the lands as they were there first for centuries/millennia, spoke a common language, could organize amongst themselves and fight back better, but they also had the disadvantage of being susceptible to European diseases.

Black slaves were taken from different parts of Africa, so often they couldn't even communicate between each other, they were taken far from their homes into foreign lands and couldn't be sure of what to do even if they escaped, there was a more developed slave trade in Africa and they were more readily available.

There's a lot of reasons, but it doesn't come down to blacks being more subservient if that was what you were trying to imply.
Otherwise I don't even see why you'd bring that up.

And no, Africans were taken from Africa, so NA familiarity with America is irrelevant.

Also, lol, no, Indians did not have a common language. Try hundreds of different languages.

The "what to do when you escape" is a good point...except for the fact that it never came to that with the Indians. They didn't make a bad choice for slaves because they knew where to flee when caught.
I always heard that they just refused to obey and would commit suicide or die fighting...though I can't remember if I heard that on PBS or while looking at Stormfront.com so...lol

 

Sheesh, I wasn't saying all natives had a common language... You must take me for a real idiot... I was saying the area specific natives would have a common language, whereas Africans traded and separated were more likely to end up with people they didn't understand.

Natives were very proud people, rather die then be slaves, but they had their own philosophies, and I'm sure not all native tribes had the same reaction.

As for Africans, I still wouldn't look down on them for dealing with the crap cards they were dealt. For a lot of cultures killing oneself is not an option. Think of what some of our war veterans put up with in Vietnam and other places, or Jewish people in concentration camps.

Some people just hold life very preciously, past the point of it being practical, but you almost seem to me to be implying that Africans in general are a weak people who are easier to manipulate against their will.
Of course this won't be what you meant, but it is coming off that way to me.

 

I said the puzzle of all of these Black people complying with the demeaning directions given by the 4 evil White men reminds me of the question, Why did African slaves make better slaves than Native Americans.

When You saw my question, you mentioned that Native Americans were more familiar with the land and they had a common language so they could organize against the White dudes. That's not true.
In fact, it was similar to the case in Africa, with many different tribes, sometimes warring with each other.
