i'm a statham fan too. and i don't think it looks that bad although burt kinda ruins it a bit for me. now i wouldn't pay 10 bucks at the theatre but i'll rent it eventually.

I can't believe that talented cutie Leelee Sobieski is in an Ewe Boll flick.


After she played Joan of Arc, I always thought Leelee would be good in an epic fantasy film of some kind, but not this. NOT THIS!

She was also in The Wicker Man remake... She's going down, unfortunately. (Though 88 Minutes and Walk All Over Me could be good.)

I thought the visuals in the trailer looked very nice, but I've never like any of Boll's films. He's a ridiculously bad director. Is he a billionare or something that finances his own films???

I've only seen "The Transporter" and "Crank" and I wasn't impressed. Statham is overrated. He's really the poor man's Clive Owen.

I love Uwe Boll flicks. They are so horrible they are the best comedies of the year. I want to see it, but since tickets went up to $10, I'll wait for DVD or TV. No way in hell Uwe is getting $10 from me, even for some high-class comedy.

Statham needs to start picking his scripts better. War was a total let down and a box office dissappoint...and his movie with Guy Ritchie was dumped into theaters with no ads...and he did a movie with Wesley Snipes that went straight to video....and now THIS.

After Crank 2 and Transporter 3 ... he'll keep on doing DTV movies probably.

As the first person in this thread to actually see this movie:

At first, while I was watching the movie, I was thinking to myself "Wow, this is an Uwe Boll movie? It's so much better than I thought it would be!"

Then the Krug showed up.

Worst. Costumes. Ever. Infinity. Every scene they're in is impossible to take seriously.

Ray Liotta is the worst actor in the movie, even worse than the King's idiot nephew.

The rest of the film's problems can be pointed to the cheap sets and the HORRIBLE idea of having people swinging from tree vines, Ninjas (I am serious here) and some pacing issues. Not to mention that the ending feels a little cramped.

However, there are some good things about it as well. Some visuals are really quite good. Statham, Perlman and most of the cast actually give a solid performance. It's just too bad the budget couldn't keep up with them and the script had some low points.

Overall, the movie was better than I thought. Still, I can't recommend it.

Leelee Sobieski looks so hot on the poster .. . It pains me to see her wasting time in a uwe boll extravaganza when she could be taking on better roles and even Jason Statham is better than this . I think Statham could be good with better direction .
There is temptation to see this , it looks promising on the surface but like all uwe boll films it could not possibly be good and from ive read it isn't . Hollywood needs to smarten up and blacklist uwe bowel before he causes any further detriment.

Early info is that it will make under 3 million this weekend from 1,605 theaters (at one point was suppose to be in 2,500+)

It's absolutely not. In the PC game, the King is imprisoned, the character has no family, he meets his friends along the way, and there is much more environment diversity.
