everything in DKSA is out of character, he killed freakin dick grayson
I personally don't see Batman having any particular character. With all the different interperetations (Dark, Humurous, Meloncholy, ........ Borderline Homoerotic) I think it depends completely on where a person is coming from in their own perspective of Bats. Everyone has their own opinion................
.. With that said, here's a couple of my opinions.
1. I love Batman. I have much love for Frank Miller. However, when it comes to pissin me off, This man ^ hit the ****in nail on the head. Personally, I'm okay w/ Bats maybe accidentally killing somebody (now and then

). However, you do NOT ****IN KILL ROBIN! Especially not DICK GRAYSON. **** THAT!
2. Just a sidenote, to follow up on what Motown Marvel was saying, Bats deserves a panic attack once in a while. I have panic attacks when I run out of my meds. This guy witnesses murders, finds dead bodies all over the place, fights for his and Gothams well being every night. And who is his most murderous, dangerous adversary - a ****in clown. That would get me deceased with the quickness. Plus, he damn near broke down in Arkham Asylum. I thought that was touching and disturbing at the same time.
3. I don't really like how Batman first reacted when he met his son. I mean, he went on all of these years thinking Talia had a miscarriage, and suddenly he finds out that his son is alive. I would have atleast liked to have seen him crying or something. Some type of emotion. I really would have liked to see him go on one of those off the wall, three nights of no sleep tirades of how this couldn't be possible (like when Jason came back). Also, he talked alot about how the kid deserved some love and respect. I would have liked to see him give the kid (or atleast try) some type of embrace. (But then again, I am still pissed b/c I really wanted to write Ibn back into existance. So, in essence, I would have done this **** entirely different.
4. For the longest time, after reading Green Lantern Rebirth, I sat and wondered what in the hell Johns was thinking when he decided that Batman can't dodge a simple friggin left (or right whichever). That **** always infuriated me every time I thought about it afterwards. Johns used half the damn story to paint Bats as a villian. THAT was some serious bull****. I don't wan't to see his name near Batman ever again (Green Lantern though. Sh***yt he can write him some Green Lantern now.). Glad to see I'm not the only one who got pissed of about that.
