What are the three best lines of Batman action figures?

I just completed my Spider-Man shelf, which includes all the Legends/Classics, movie figs, and animated figs....now im looking to make a Batman shelf, but there are SO many *&%^$# lines to choose from....

Animated
Hush
Long Halloween/Dark Victory
DC Superheroes (Batman line)
Kuburt
Batman Begins
Elseworlds

All opinions are welcome. :yay:

I don't go so much by lines, but by how much I like a particular design of the individual characters. Like for instance, I have Batman and Riddler from Hush, but I don't care for Lee's design of the Joker, but I do like the Joker in the upcoming Batman and Son line. I also have the Red Son Batman.

Personally, I'd rather spend my money on the figures I really like, rather than just having a complete set of a particular line for the sake of having the complete set.

The Batman animated line I think is one of the best lines of any toy license. I also think the Legends of Batman elseworlds line is pretty nice as well.

What i like about the animated figures (besides how cool they are) is:

A) I already have some of them

B) They've come down quite a bit in price on the secondary market in recent months...maybe because after so many years, the demand is wearing off a bit (i noticed the same thing with the Spider-Man animated figures). That could change again at any time though.

I really like the Hush series as well. I might try and get all those, and supplement it with Bane, Killer Croc, and Mr. Freeze from the DC Superheroes Batman line....they're about the same size (6 inches)...

Does anyone know if the animated JLA figures are in scale with the Batman animated figures? They look a bit smaller.

Took your advice. I bought a box of the first wave of Hush figures, and put them on my shelf with Bane and Killer Croc from the Dc Superheroes Batman line.

They look great together. I'll probably round out with the last two waves of Hush figures over the next few months, but that will leave me needing a Penguin and a Two-Face. Anyone have any suggestions on what line i should pilfer those two characters from? They need to be more or less in scale with the Hush line. (i'll be getting Robin and Freeze from the DCSH line)...

Not sure if its in line with your Hush figures but my Kia Asamiya Two-Face is really great looking .

I would suggest the Penguin from ''Secret Files: Batman Rogues Gallery'' and Two Face from ''The Long Halloween''.

Good suggestions. Thanks. There's a Man-Bat in that Rogues Gallery line too, correct?

No problem.
Yes, there is, and also the Black Mask, Killer Croc and Mr. Freeze. I also preferred the Mr. Freeze from Mattel DC Superheroes line though.
I have the Black Mask and it's a great sculpt. The Killer Croc I'm still waiting to arrive, purchased it last week.
I am also intending to get The Penguin and Man-Bat.

My two favoite lines are
Mattel's 'Four Horsemen' designs. Love those 12' inch figures!!
and Legends of the Dark knight< Neural Claw Batman and they're mail in black and gray designs kicked much @$$!!!
And the Batman Returns line had some sweet figures like 'action cape Batman' that had the batwing action.
The New Adventures Batman is still a winner, imo. That batmobile is my favorite! And I love how they redesigned Batman and alot of the villains for that show.
