My mom let me go to Target to pick here up a copy, so that's helping our sequel cause a little. :D

I didn't read the back of my Target special case version. There are actually MORE bonus features that are Target exclusive. I thought is was the same second disc as was sold everywhere, I was wrong. The discs look the same but there's a whole second page of bonus stuff. More making of and comic book stuff. This Target second disc is way better then the standard one sold everywhere else.

She got the regular single disc version, she's not all into special features and what not. I didn't notice a Target exclusive there, but I didn't really look up and down the rows. However, they had quite a lot of copies. They either didn't sell out, or recently restocked the DVD's. As for the Target exclusive, I would've gotten that version had I know about it earlier, but the standard three disc edition still has quite a bit of interesting special features. Hopefully some featurettes from the Target exclusive will appear on Youtube soon.

I just got it today (along with Indy IV) first time seeing it & I must say I'm impressed. My only con is that it felt short (but so did Iron Man).

I don't think it fell short at all, but some of the deleted scenes surely would've made it all the more better.

I'd give this movie around a 9.4/10.

nvm. my mistake.

Yeah, I heard it has something about an evolution of the Hulk, which I guess would be similar to the version on the 2003 disc, only updated and of course, more incredible. :D

If anyone here has the Target exclusive or buys it, do you think you could put up a video of that featurette?

Lengths of features:
An Incredible Evolution - 12:43
The Hulk Who Wasn't There - 6:07
Creating Hulk Comic Books - 7:00
The Incredible Hulk Screening in Austin, Texas - 6:15
Being Green - 2:43

I keep reading good things about the Evolution feature.

What do they talk about in that featurette, exactly, or do you know?

I recall reading something at another board, citing it following the progression of Hulk from the character's inception to TIH; examining the different media that he's been featured in (comics, TV, movie). I haven't seen it though.

Oh, so I was right, it's pretty much like the evolution on the 2003 disc, only updated. In that, they basically did the same thing.

Is the new opening on the 3 disc worth getting? Is it long? Or just a few moments leaving you with the feeling they shouldn't have bothered, or does it make you happy that they added it?:bh::woot::huh:

There are deleted scenes, nothing added to the actual movie. As for the alternate opening, yes, it's totally worth seeing.

Tyler was pretty good in the role, and showed that she cared for Bruce. Connelly's Ross always seemed like she resented Banner.

Tyler was a decent choice considering the circumstances on cast, but overall I still prefer Connelly's portrayal if comparing the two. And I found her Ross to be one that cared very deeply for Bruce. I think this was very evident during their scene in the hospital following the Ang Lee version of the experimental "accident".

On a side note, I ended up purchasing the 3 Disc Target version ... and I'm loving the special features. And yeah, one of the features goes over the history of the Hulk. From the comic, to the Bixby/Ferrigno series, to even the Ang Lee film (which is discussed for a minute or two), and now TIH film.

Very cool stuff. Just wish that particular featurette had a longer running time. Since I love stuff like that.

:bh:

what about the RED HULK??

we need a sequal before the whole avengers thing. that imo should be left for part three!!
I don't think there's enough time to do another, unless they move Avengers back for a TIH sequel.

Maybe I should of gotten the 2-dsic instead of 1. Eh, I can wait until I get Blu-ray.

Just bought it/saw it for the first time. Loved it. Probably could have stood to have at least one of those deleted scenes for a bit more character development, but hey, it was a great movie anyways.

I've gotten so used to watching "The Hulk" movie over the years but it will take a few more views of "The Incredible Hulk" before I get used to it.

Ok...Here's the bottom line as far as the hulk dvd is concerned:

There must be a 3 hour extended edition at some point!!!!

So many awesome scenes got cut. Leonard's other scenes should have stayed, and Ross's speech about controlling the next great weapon should have stayed. The pizza thing was a cool bit, but didn't need to stay. I also liked when Betty showed Bruce the scar on her head and the orchid.

Yeah the pizza bit was cool, for comic relief, with such a serious desperate character.

Yeah, plus they worked in the "Don't make me angry" line earlier (only even more comedic). The only essential part was him getting on the campus and to the computer. The joke deliveries didn't need to stay.

Definitely not, but Bruce & Leonard talking by the fire, Ross discussing nature's mystery, the alternate opening, Betty talking about the data (extended), and Betty showing Bruce the scar all could've stayed.

While I do agree with this...I must say that I did like the, "Dude where are your balls...you gotta SMASH that door in and..." Bruce should have turned around and said, "Smash huh?" Then later it could have played out that the word Smash was in the back of Bruce's subconscious mind for when people are giving him ****. Just my opinion.

I agree on all these points. All these should have stayed.

Eh, it would be okay, but Hulk just saying it works just as well.
