I was wondering;

Since there are SO many different versions of the DVDs across all regions, what would people consider the DEFINITIVE versions of the following DVDs for all us hardcore nerds...

I'm a DVD user at the moment so I'd prefer to know those versions.

I'll start...

Iron Man 2 (2010) 2-Disc Special Edition [Region 1 or 2]
X-Men Origins Wolverine (2009) 2-Disc Special Edition [Region 1]
Punisher War Zone (2008) 2-Disc Special Edition [Region 1]
The Incredible Hulk (2008) 3-Disc Special Edition [Region 1]
Iron Man (2008) 2-Disc Ultimate Edition [Region 1 or 2]
Fantastic Four - Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007) 2-Disc Ultimate Edition [Region 1 or 2]
Spider-Man 3 (2007) 2-Disc Ultimate Edition [Region 1 or 2]
Ghost Rider (2007) Extended Cut [Region 1 or 2]
X-Men - The Last Stand (2006) 2-Disc Ultimate Edition [Region 1 or 2]
Fantastic Four (2005) The Extended Edition [Region 1 or 2]
Elektra (2005) Director's Cut [Region 1]
Blade Trinity (2004) Extended Version [Region 1 or 2]
Spider-Man 2 (2004) 2.1 Extended Cut [Region 1 or 2]
The Punisher (2004) Extended Cut [Region 1]
Hulk (2003) 2-Disc Special Edition [Region 1 or 2]
X-Men 2 (2003) 2-Disc Special Edition [Region 1 or 2]
Daredevil (2003) Director's Cut [Region 1]
Blade II (2002) 2-Disc Edition [Region 1 or 2]
Spider-Man (2002) 2-Disc Special Edition [Region 1 or 2]
X-Men (2000) 1.5 Extreme Edition [Region 1 or 2]
Blade (1998) 1-Disc Standard Edition [Region 1 or 2]
The Fantastic Four (1994) bootleg only
Captain America (1991) Apparently a new DVD edition is dropping very soon
The Punisher (1989) Uncut Version [Region 2]
Howard the Duck (1986) Uncut Version [Region 2]

Am I right? Feel free to correct me and help us fellow nerds out...

It's a hard call...I only watch region 1 DVDs, so can't comment on whether a region 2 one is better or not.

Oh....and there was an official release of the David Hasselhoff NICK FURY movie to add to your list.

Well some of the better versions only come out for you guys anyways, so you usually have the "definitive" ones haha

I own quite a few Marvel film dvd's and I'd say you probably listed the more jam packed versions of each movie on dvd as far as extras and extended scenes.

Of all the Marvel DVD's I'd say these are the ones that impressed me most content wise. These are my top ten.

The Incredible Hulk (2008) 3-Disc Special Edition [Region 1]
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007) 2-Disc Ultimate Edition [Region 1]
Fantastic Four (2005) The Extended Edition [Region 1]
Blade Trinity (2004) Extended Version [Region 1]
The Punisher (2004) Extended Cut [Region 1]
Hulk (2003) 2-Disc Special Edition [Region 1]
X-Men 2 (2003) 2-Disc Special Edition [Region 1]
Blade II (2002) 2-Disc Edition [Region 1]
Spider-Man (2002) 2-Disc Special Edition [Region 1]
X-Men (2000) 1.5 Extreme Edition [Region 1]
